Chocolate Panna Cotta

1 cup milk
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
2 cups heavy cream
¼ cup sugar
1 lb. semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
2 tsp. vanilla

Place the milk in a small bowl. Sprinkle the gelatin over the milk and set
aside until softened, about 5 minutes.

Combine cream and sugar in a medium saucepan. Place over medium-high heat, and
bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add gelatin mixture, whisking
to combine. Remove from heat, and stir in chocolate and vanilla. Whisk
until thoroughly combined.

Divide mixture evenly between ramekins; chill until set, at least 4 hours.

Garnish with whipped cream.
