1 lb. banana bread loaf
4 egg yolks, beaten
2 cups half and half
¼ cup sugar
16 Hershey’s Kisses or chocolate truffles
Cut bread into 1” cubes; place in ungreased 2 qt. baking dish. Beat egg yolks,
half and half and sugar. Pour egg mixture over the bread. Bake uncovered
in oven at 350° 40-45 minutes or until puffed and knife inserted off center
comes out clean (center will appear moist but will set up with standing).
Immediately cut into 25 squares in pan. Place a chocolate on top of each
bread pudding square. Cool 30 minutes before serving.
